How to bid on AutoBid
1. Add a refundable deposit
Bidding is unlocked with buying power, which you get by adding a deposit. The deposit is fully refundable on any amount you don't spend — it simply proves you're a serious bidder. Add funds from your dashboard and your buying power updates as soon as the payment is confirmed.
2. Place your maximum bid
On any vehicle you can bid, enter the most you're willing to pay. We hold that amount from your buying power while the auction is live. You can raise your maximum at any time; you can cancel unless you're currently the highest bidder. The price you actually pay may be lower than your maximum.
3. When the timer ends
Each lot has a countdown. When it reaches zero the highest bid wins. If you win, your held amount is applied to the purchase and we issue an invoice. If you don't win, the held amount is released back to your buying power right away.
4. Fees and shipping
Each vehicle shows an estimated total that includes auction fees and inland transport to the departure port. Ocean shipping (RoRo) is quoted separately on the shipping page, since the final cost depends on the vehicle's measured size and the carrier's rate on the sailing date.
All sales are final. Vehicles are sold "as is, where is."
